Summer Escape Daycamps
Sign your kids up for a summer where they will have a blast. We would love for all your children to come along with our trained and experienced leaders to local pools, beaches and on other fun out-trips.

They will also get a chance to participate in other fun learning activities such as sport games, crafts and interactive reading and writing challenges. All out-trips will be age appropriate for both camps so don’t waste any time and come on down to sign your kids up for a memorable summer.

Daycamp will run Mon-Fri for 9 weeks this summer, 9am – 4pm, with extended care available 8-9am and 4-5pm is $30 per week. Take a brief look at the activities your kids will be participating in each week. T-shirts will be provided for each camper.

JUNIOR CAMP 6-9YRS
Sunset’s Summer Escape Jr. Camp wants to offer your children an unforgettable summer that will give them an opportunity to build new friendships and learn how to interact in group settings through making crafts such as animal mail boxes and marshmallow/tooth pick shapes and playing sports such as California kickball and bench soccer. Learning activities such as math bingo and creative play re-enactments will also be a part of each week.

SENIOR CAMP 10-12YRS
Join the Senior Sunset Summer Escape Day camp for fun filled games, crafts and events. Some of the activities we will be doing are village paper mache, weekly reading and math game shows, crazy baseball and big bases. The Senior Camp will offer your kids the opportunity to learn leadership skills which they will be able to apply in their daily lives.

Day 1 Jun 30 - $25
Kick off the summer with fun and interactive games, while getting to know your leaders

Week 1 Jul 2-4 - $72
Learn and experience the ways of Science World like you’ve never seen before. Watch a funky film in the OMNIMax theatre, and start the summer with a cool dip in Killarney’s Pool.

Week 2 Jul 7-11 - $118
Bring out the animal in you with visits to the Aldergrove Zoo and the Vancouver Aquarium

Week 3 Jul 14-18 - $118
Come with your imagination for a cake bake-off and sand castle competition, while knocking some pins down with glow-in-the-dark Bowling.

Week 4 Jul 21-25 - $118
Have some wet-n-wild fun at Canada Games Pool and Splashdown while having a blast with Sunset Survivor.

Week 5 Jul 28–Aug 1 - $118
Have some fun with food as you create your own specialty pizza, become friends with nature at the Capilano Suspension Bridge and take a cool dip at Second Beach Pool.

Week 6 Aug 6-8 - $96
Learn about Canadian sports history at the B.C Sports Hall of Fame and then join us for the Sunset Olympic Games with many exciting relays and challenges. End the week with a fun boating experience at Deer Lake Park.

Week 7 Aug 11-15 - $118
Join us on the thrilling rides at Playland and have fun slipping and sliding on Sunset’s hills, and knock some pins down at Town ‘n Country Bowling.

Week 8 Aug 18-22 - $118
Experience the world with Sunset’s Amazing Race; Splish’ Splash your way around Splashdown Water Park. Enjoy a BIG game of tag....Laser Tag

Week 9 Aug 25-29 - $118
Start the week off with a bang at Watermania, while scaling the great walls at an indoor Rock-climbing gym. And then end the summer with a Potluck that will entail fun interactive games and events. Parents are very much welcome.

South Asian Arts Cultural Camps ( 5-14 yrs)
at Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre

This exciting cultural camp will leave lasting summer memories for those who participate.For a full month, students will learn about the South Asian Culture through the instruction of various sports and arts such as bhangra dance, theatre, arts & crafts, and music. In accordance to BC academic standards, the students will also learn math, science, social studies, creative writing and storytelling.

A special program called Life Skills will deal with issues such as environmental consciousness, conflict resolution, cultural bridging, communication, and nutrition. In addition, we encourage hands on and visual learning with field trips and there is an awards gala ceremony at the end to highlight achievements of campers and showcase their art projects! This summer program is in its fourth year running as the only South Asian Cultural Camp of its kind, combining academics with sport and the arts. South Asian Arts is known for their high quality instruction in dance, music and visual arts through experienced and qualified instructors and will be providing the arts and cultural component. South Asian Arts is well on its way to breaking new ground in the dance and music scene. www.southasianarts.ca
