Sunset has a number of rooms for rent. Each room accommodates a different number of people and is priced accordingly.

Rental prices are hourly and should include set-up and clean-up time. Some rentals outside of regular hours of operation need a rental supervisor which is an additional $20 per hour (min 3 hours social, min 2 hours sports).

• Requests are to be made by email to sunsetcc@vancouver.ca 2 weeks prior to rental date.
• Fill in and email, mail, in-peron or fax the Rental Request Form (PDF 23kb)
• Rentals are not confirmed until the contract has been signed.
• Rental Fee & Damage Deposit: If greater than 4 weeks then a rental deposit of $200 must be paid; this is required for all social rentals. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event.
  If the rental is less than 4 weeks prior to the rental date the renter must pay in full at time of booking.
• Clean up is the responsibility of the renter. If the room is not returned to its original state
  the deposit will be used to cover any damages/cleanup fees.
• Refund Policy: Notice of cancellation of a rental contract MUST BE forwarded, in writing to the Rental Representative at Sunset Community Centre Office, located at 6810 Main Street, Vancouver.
  If cancelled, the Total Rental Charge will be pro-rated as follows:
  Notified a min of 5 weeks in advance - 75% refundable
  Notified a min of 4 weeks in advance - 50% refundable
  Notified a min of 3 weeks in advance - 25% refundable
  Less than 3 weeks, NO REFUND

ART & CRAFTS ROOM

• Please stack chairs 10 high, fold tables & leave them against the west windows
  • 30 Green Adult Chairs
  • 12 Blue Child Chairs
  • 2 Small Folding Tables – Brown Standing
  • 4 Grey 8’ Tables
• All garbage must be removed and placed in the bin in the parking lot
• Floors must be swept and all spills must be mopped up
• Nothing is to be placed on the white walls

HALL

• Please stack chairs, 10 high, fold tables & leave them inside the storage.
• Circle tables are to be placed in the storage on the west wall
  • 180 Red Adult Chairs
  • 15 Round 5’ Tables
  • 3 Round 4’ Tables
  • 11 Grey 6’ Tables
  • 2 Brown 8’ Tables
• Folding tables must be folded & left against the north wall of room
  • 5 Large Folding Tables
  • 2 Small Folding Tables
• All garbage must be removed and placed in the bin in the parking lot
• Floors must be swept and all spills must be mopped up
• Nothing is to be placed on the white walls
• Maximum capacity: 230 people
• Dimensions: 57.7ft x 28.5ft = 1646ft2

MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM

  • 40 Blue Adult Chairs
  • 15 Red Preschool Chairs
  • 5 Small Folding Tables – Brown standing
  • 2 Grey 6’ Tables
• All garbage must be removed and placed in the bin in the parking lot

• Nothing is to be placed on the white walls
• Please advise front desk if room is in poor condition upon arrival.

STUDIO
