South Asian Family Association (SAFA): brings Creative Remix2 a 5 week summer camp back to Moberly- with an emphais on the arts.
MISCELLANEOUS Productions: Power A solo, duo, trio, and ensemble performance featuring culturally diverse youth in collaboration with professional artists.
Shakti Dance Society: LIGHT, an interdisciplinary piece, which tells the stories associated with the celebration of Diwali.
Arts & Culture, Parks Board, City of Vancouver: Ephemeral Tea Party, Utilizing natural materials from nature, artists Lori Weidenhammer and Sharon Kallis guided the participants to create elaborate desidngs concentrating on colour, form and texture. Shadow Puppet Workshop, Puppeteer, Maggie Winston from Lost & Found Puppet Co. led 3 workshops with Seniors and young people from the Sunset Community Neighbourhood.Historic Sign Workshop with artist Margaret Naylor and a local school group, honouring the centenary of the South Hill Community.
Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra: Silk Road, an educational concert withlocal school groups that took us around the world through a series of unusal instruments and songs.
Sarah Hayward: STRIPES THE MYSTERY CIRCUS, a delightful theatrical spectacle that tells the story of an audition that humorously and touchingly goes awry.
Art & Culture, Parks Board, The Sunset Association and The Thomas family of Delta, BC, in memory of their father, W. Stan Thomas, founding president of the Sunset Memorial Centre, and Prime Signal Ltd. Artist in Community project, Here and There led by artists Pat Beaton and Zee Kesler engaging community members to represent their reltionships with the neighbourhood both past and present.
