Moberly is located in South East Vancouver at 60th and Prince Albert.
(2 blocks East of Fraser at 60th)). It is jointly operated by the
Sunset Community Centre Association and the Vancouver Board of Parks
and Recreation. This facility was renovated in 1999 with a mandate
to support the arts. |

Facility For: Rehearsals, Performances, Workshops, Community Festivals,
Special Events, Concerts, Courses, Conferences, Exhibitions, Arts
Programming, Lectures, Fundraising Events and Private Parties Etc. |

- 1664 sq. ft. rehearsal hall with sprung floor has additional
280 sq.ft. adjacent lounge area which can be sealed off with fold
out panels. There are two double doors off the main hall into
the parking lot for easy loading.
- Meeting Room/Studio downstairs is 600 sq.ft., with large windows
facing south, separate access door and sink.
- All rooms can be equipped with long fold out tables on wheels,
3 tables are 10' long and 30" wide 8 tables are 8' long and
30" wide. There are 120 stackable chairs.
- Newly re-constructed kitchen with 2 microwaves, 2 connection
ovens, 2 hot plates andcoffee urns. (Please Note: no cooking facilities)
- Some equipment that may be made available for an extra fee
include: TV and VCR, overhead projector, CD player and sound system
and stage risers. Professional stage lighting (requires the hiring
of a trained lighting technician)

Private Functions Rates: Friday, Saturday and Holidays
$400.00 per day (8 hrs) or $60.00 per hour +GST
Sunday to Thursday
$350.00 per day (8 hrs) or $50.00 per hour + GST
* rates include a staff building supervisor/technician
* damage deposit of $200.00 is required, $300.00 if sound system
and/or lights are used.
Proposals from non-profit Arts Organisations are accepted ongoing
to the Moberly Committee for approval. |

- Capacity:maximum number of people is 120 (including staff,
children caterers and technicians).
- Serving liquor: the rental group is responsible for obtaining
a valid "Liquor License" for any liquor service or consumption
as well as a "Serving it Right" certificate.
- Serving food: food can not be cooked on the premises,
only catered food and/or warming of food is permitted.
