Join us for this conversational English class taught by an experienced English teacher. Everyone with any level of English is welcome. Sign up in advance as spaces fill up fast. Changing Aging – UBC Kinesiology Body Works Program
UBC School of Kinesiology
This renowned evidence-based exercise program is delivered by specially trained Kinesiology students with advanced skills to work with aging and clinical populations. Designed for older adults, the program targets mobility and injury/disease prevention. Exercises focus on reducing cardiovascular disease risk factors and improving joint mobility and stability through strength, endurance, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility training. Prerequisite: stable health condition(s), moderate to high functional mobility.

To confirm eligibility after registering into the program, new participants are required to submit a medical Referral Form and schedule an intake appointment with the School of Kinesiology staff: (604)822-0207 prior to the first class. No class Aug 1.
